What are the responsibilities and job description for the DATA ANALYST position at Communicare, Inc?
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the collection and retrieval of information and quantitate reports, useful information, suggests conclusions which supports decision making.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors or Associates Degree in Administrative/Business/Social Services field and five years of administrative work preferably in a communication field. Masters Degree and public relations experience preferred. May substitute experience for education.
SKILL SETS: Demonstrates exceptional knowledge of computers and applications such as MS-word, Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to design professional reports; gather and compile data; ability to problem solve; ability to organize and articulate; and ability to provide leadership and direction to others
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Visual acuity necessary for updating files and completing documents. Require frequent stooping, kneeling and crouching to file records. Hearing and talking necessary to answer phone and talk with employees and other individuals. Work while walking, standing and sitting. Manual dexterity is required to perform computer functions.
JOB SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:
- Meets with staff to acquire data points to track and report data.
- Compile and report data weekly, monthly, or as required.
- Compiles data on processes and reports results.
- Tests processes and makes recommended reports on change.
- Organizes and compiles raw data uncovering useful data and reports on data.
- Builds and runs reports from Credible.
- Provides training to staff regarding correct and effective use of Credible, as well as trouble shooting and problem solving issues.
- Develop training materials and guides for staff use in regards to Credible.
- Identify parameters of data and reports statistics with graphs and summary explanations in median, mode average, variance and standard deviation.
- Uses principles such as predictive analytics to forecast.
- Uses principles such as data cleaning to ensure and prevent repetitive errors.
- Provides reports on Financial, Ombudsperson, HIPAA, Access, Billing, Collections and write offs, productivity and any others requested by the Chief Compliance Officer.
- Monitors changes to Regulations to ensure center compliance.
- Monitor DBHDID contract deliverables to ensure timely submission of data and reports.
- Researches and analyzes data for special topics as directed by the Chief Compliance Officer.
- Coordinates special projects as directed.
- Participates in agency continuing quality improvement (CQI) activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
- Adheres to Communicare policies and procedures.
- Attends mandatory in-services and other training/educational programs as required.
