Job duties & responsibilities:
- Ability to develop and create reports based on functional area needs
- Responsible for ensuring timely monthly reporting package completion and distribution.
- Create and review reports, analyze variances, and distribute to management.
- Performs ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed, ability to create new visuals based on requestor inputs
- Creates a relationship with Corporate partners and produces reporting package utilized by both organizations
- Assists Accountant Role by collecting, organizing, and sharing relevant data
- Assists leadership with collecting support and tracking during various audits
- Start-up type environment, ability to prioritize and shift focus when competing priorities emerge – ability to adapt and work on multiple projects at the same time
- Other finance projects and functions as assigned.
- A bachelor degree and 6-10 yrs of related experience, preferably in a healthcare insurance environment.
- Ability to create clear and concise reporting – operational knowledge of data to ensure validity
- Must have the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant
- Must be able to deal tactfully with team members and managers
- Excellent Excel skills are required
- Database experience a plus – architect or user.
- Superior organizational skills, strong task management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Also important are excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both internal and external customers, and the ability to work in a team oriented environment.
- A positive attitude, with a high degree of ethics and personal integrity, as well as confidentiality, are traits needed to be successful in this role.
