Material Handler

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with regular daily overtime and occasional Saturday overtime (6:00 AM–12:00 PM)

We’re seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Material Handler to support daily warehouse and inventory operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is essential to keeping materials organized, inventory accurate, and production running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, organize, and store incoming materials in designated locations.
• Pick, verify, and prepare parts and job kits according to work orders and specifications.
• Issue materials to authorized employees and maintain accurate inventory records and logs.
• Perform daily cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and help maintain inventory accuracy.
• Inspect materials for quality and quantity, ensuring items are handled and delivered safely.
• Process returns and exchanges in accordance with established procedures.
• Support receiving activities and assist with training coworkers as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all safety and quality standards.
• Follow written and verbal instructions and contribute to overall customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of stockroom or warehouse experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• General knowledge of warehouse and material-handling procedures.
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Basic math skills and the ability to read and write English.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and recordkeeping abilities.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and adapt to changing needs.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, and perform other routine warehouse activities.
• Ability to work at heights of up to 20 feet using appropriate equipment and established safety procedures.

Additional Information: This position may require regular overtime and occasional Saturday work. Additional duties may be assigned based on operational needs.
