Electro-Mechanical AssemblerCompany designs and manufactures state-of-the-art stainless-steel material handling and processing equipment for a wide range of industrial processing and manufacturing applications primarily for Pharmaceutical, Beverage and Food manufacturing companies.Job overview:This position contributes to the success of the company by providing our team with in-depth electrical and mechanical assembly skills and knowledge. Assembly duties would include collection of materials and tools to perform the assembly and quality control functions per defined procedures, drawings, schematics and work instructions.Essential job functions:Electrical wiring schematic interpretation and assembly of subassemblies, components and machinesRead, understand, interpret and follow assembly schematicsMechanical assembly of machinery components and subassembliesUtilizing schematics, prints and work instructions, assembles mechanical equipment as requiredTroubleshooting of mechanical and electrical equipmentTesting equipment for performance to specifications and for reliabilityComplete machine builds within a defined time frame with a high level of qualityGood communication skills and team member who is able to work with a diverse staffRequired:High school diploma.Technical degree or training preferred.5 or more years of experience in the assembly, repair & troubleshooting of electro-mechanical equipment.Must have driver’s license.Ability to perform mechanical assembly of machinery and subassemblies using common hand and power tools as required.Ability to perform electrical wiring assembly utilizing standard electrical tools as required.Ability to read assembly drawings, electrical schematics/diagrams and detailed work instructions.Ability to read and understand English.Knowledge of industry and applications.Computer literacy, esp. with MS Office.Ability to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities.Willingness to learn and perform other duties as required by departmental needs.Ability to conduct business in an ethical, successful manner.Self-motivated, strong desire to achieve personal professional growth.Strong technical, communication and organizational skills.Additional:Occasional lifting required.Bending, twisting, kneeling, standing, sitting regularlyCompany DescriptionCompany is a long-standing business with a reputation for integrity, technical expertise, and strong customer relationships.
