We are recruiting an expert HR Manager to work on-site at our Claremont or Catawba NC, facility, supporting our North American Manufacturing facilities Reporting to the Senior Director HR Business Partner, this role provides critical support and execution around people initiatives while delivering solid internal support to the broader HR team, site leaders and partners.
How You'll Help Us Connect the World:
This role leads all aspects of the HR function for our facilities in Catawba, Claremont, Pineville, NC, and Santa Ana, CA. It provides expert advice and counsel on interpersonal efficiency, employee relations, change management, employee communication, and effective policies, practices, and procedures. Drive overall cultural change and improve employee communication. Responsibilities also include:
Support local leadership with the changing needs of the business; assist in a controlled ramp-up of hiring as order intake increases; and form lasting relationships between HR and leadership to work in an environment of teamwork.
Responsible for effective recruitment and selection management and building a long-term strategy to ensure appropriate headcount by driving talent programs such as skills-based pay and apprenticeships.
Establish relationships with local government agencies to collaborate closely on HR funding (particularly training grants) and other support and be an ambassador for CommScope.
Lead the HR and support teams to deliver operational excellence and ensure individual development is supported, as well as employee career paths, training and development needs and opportunities for employee retention.
Required Qualifications for Consideration:
- Six or more years running an HR team in a large manufacturing environment with validated experience and knowledge of HR practices and employment issues.
- Ideally a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the HR field
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP/Talent Connections.
You Will Excite Us If You Have:
- HR certification (i.e., PHR, SPHR)
- Previous experience successfully changing the culture into one of innovation and diversity
- Experience supporting multiple manufacturing sites
