Commonwealth Strategic Solutions is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) delivering program management, data analytics, strategic communications, and technology optimization services to federal health, science, and research missions.
The Consultant serves as a cross-functional contributor supporting federal clients by executing structured analysis, project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and high-quality deliverables that improve mission outcomes. This role operates in complex government environments and supports client-facing workstreams through disciplined execution, strong communication, and readiness to support compliance, documentation, and adoption of new processes/tools.
Project Coordination & Delivery Support
- Coordinate and execute project activities and draft client deliverables in support of government mission objectives.
- Prepare materials for client meetings and briefings; document meetings, decisions, and action items to maintain delivery momentum.
- Maintain program documentation necessary to support client operations (e.g., trackers, SOPs, implementation guides, reporting artifacts).
Analysis, Research, and Decision Support
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis to identify trends, risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities; translate findings into clear, decision-ready products.
- Support market research and discovery activities; contribute to technical documentation and implementation guidance as required by the client environment.
Stakeholder Engagement & Change Enablement
- Support stakeholder coordination across cross-functional teams (clinical/technical/operational/policy as applicable), helping drive alignment in complex federal environments.
- Provide training support by documenting standard operating procedures and facilitating training modules and workshops to support adoption.
Tools, Dashboards, and Program Visibility
- Maintain program dashboards and trackers to ensure leadership visibility into performance metrics and project health (e.g., Smartsheet/Salesforce/Jira/Microsoft tools as required by contract).
- Support recurring reporting cadences (monthly/quarterly) and maintain accurate, audit-ready documentation.
Communications & Compliance (as required)
- Develop professional briefing materials, newsletters, and communications products aligned with federal standards, including Section 508 accessibility when applicable.
- Ensure written materials meet contract quality standards prior to submission for review/approval.
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor's in relevant field or equivalent
Required Experience:
- 3–6 years of consulting experience
- 5 years of relevant experience
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Regular interaction with working-level clients
- Ability to be a trusted contributor within the team
- Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
Salary : $71,250 - $120,000
