Commonwealth Psychological Associates, PLC is a highly respected, well-established, private practice that has been treating children, adolescents, adults, and families in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area for 40 years. Our beautiful and spacious office, located in McLean, VA has a strong local and international referral base and has great benefits to offer. We are looking for an experienced clinical neuropsychologist to join our multi-disciplinary treatment team of clinical psychologists, neuropsychologists and technicians, anger and stress management specialist, and other allied healthcare providers. We are a hybrid practice with both in-person and telehealth appointments.
Requirements for Commonwealth Psychological Associates Clinical Psychologist:
- Completion of a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from an APA accredited institution.
- Training in evidence-based cognitive, emotional, and behavioral assessments
- Competency in administering, scoring, and interpreting tests and assessments as part of integrated and comprehensive Neuropsychological Evaluations
- Subsequent completion of a 3-year postdoctoral residency preferred.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of clinical experience preferred (completion of a 1 to 2-year postdoctoral residency included).
- Licensed or eligible for immediate licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Responsibilities
- Provide onsite face-to-face testing, initial evaluations, and interpretive meetings with patients and their families for primarily adult patients, at all levels of complexity, including but not limited to, adult ADHD, ASD, TBI and dementia.
- Write a full Neuropsychological Evaluation report, usually within 3-4 weeks of the patient’s assessment
- Conduct additional feedback sessions with patients as necessary
- Render services to patients referred by Commonwealth as mutually agreed between the Doctor and the practice
- Hold professional malpractice in amounts equal to $2,500,000 per occurrence and $4,200,000 in the aggregate
- Set your own working hours, subject to the office schedule
