We are a multi-doctor oral surgery practice currently seeking to add one full-time team member to our Scheduling Coordinator department. This is a Monday - Friday 8:15 am - 4:30 pm position (no weekends, evenings, or designated holidays). We value candidates with excellent communication and customer service skills. Applicants should have intermediate computer skills and a stable employment history. Call Center experience and Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus!
Salary commensurate with experience (but will be within the posted pay range). Excellent benefits package included.
Pre-employment drug screening and background check are required for new hires prior to onboarding.
Basic Job Duties:
Answers all incoming calls promptly and in a professional, courteous manner
§ Schedules, reschedules and cancels appointments for all doctors and clinics
§ Promptly notifies clinics of any same day or following day schedule changes
§ Answers caller questions when able; transfers calls to co-workers or doctors as necessary
§ Accurately takes phone messages and dependably relays them to appropriate office or individual
§ Identifies whether callers are new or existing patients
§ Accurately inputs into the system each patient’s appointment, demographics, medical, and insurance information
§ Gives callers clear and accurate directions to the clinics
§ Sends out welcome packets (paper or e-mail) to new patients and updated registration forms to returning patients
§ Evaluates the appointment scheduler daily for her/his assigned doctor to be sure that the schedules are booked correctly
§ Works with assigned doctor (s) to maximize working schedules

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
