Dental Assistant / Surgical Assistant
Commonwealth Oral and Facial Surgery & Dental Implant Center
Full-Time | Multiple Locations in Montgomery and Bucks Counties, PA
We are a busy, multi-location oral surgery practice looking for a reliable, motivated Dental Assistant / Surgical Assistant to join our clinical team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, takes pride in patient care, and wants to be part of a strong, team-oriented culture.
What You’ll Do:
Assist surgeons during oral surgery procedures, including extractions, implants, and IV sedation cases
Prepare and break down surgical rooms efficiently
Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
Take and process digital X-rays (must be properly certified)
Maintain strict infection control and sterilization protocols
Support patient flow to keep the schedule running on time
Communicate clearly with doctors, team members, and patients
What We’re Looking For:
Dental assisting or surgical assisting experience preferred (oral surgery experience is a plus)
X-ray certification required (or willingness to obtain immediately)
Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized under pressure
A team-first mindset with a willingness to jump in where needed
Professional, dependable, and punctual
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-doctor environment
