Our Fine Wine & Good Spirits (FW&GS) Store in Punxsutawney is looking for a Full-Time Sales Team Lead (Liquor Store Clerk 2) - apply today!

Note: This is an itinerant position, requiring travel as needed. This position is located out of store number #3302 in Punxsutawney but will travel to other stores in the designated district.

This role focuses on supporting store operations, guiding clerks during each shift, and creating a positive customer experience. It involves leading daily activities, assisting with merchandise, and ensuring adherence to store policies and procedures. As an Itinerant Sales Team Lead, you will perform the following duties:

• Shift Leadership: Guide clerks and maintain smooth store operations throughout each shift
• Customer Support: Assist shoppers by answering questions and helping them find products
• Sales Processing: Manage sales transactions using a computerized cash register
• Stock Operations: Unload shipments, stock shelves, and build product displays
• Store Upkeep: Maintain store cleanliness and ensure an organized shopping environment
• Staff Training: Provide on-the-job training to newer clerks to support proper procedures

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Work hours will vary, totaling 75 hours biweekly

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Six months as a Liquor Store Clerk 1 or Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk (Commonwealth job titles or equivalent Federal Government job titles, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
• Six months of retail sales work.

Other Requirements:

• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

• You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code.
