DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This role oversees staff assigned to the Point Office and ensures that daily routines, safety practices, and documentation needs are met. As a Residential Services Aide Supervisor, you will perform the following duties:

• Staff Oversight: Lead daily assignments, monitor attendance records, and ensure proper shift coverage
• Safety Checks: Inspect living areas for hazards, mitigate risks, and address policy violations among staff
• Documentation Review: Verify logs, records, reports, and required forms for accuracy and timely completion
• Team Coordination: Assist with meetings, communicate with scheduling, and provide direction to support smooth operations
• Training Support: Ensure staff attend required trainings and provide guidance on procedures and expectations
• Administrative Tasks: Manage personnel files, complete evaluations, and follow reporting procedures for incidents

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
• Work hours are 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. You will work every other weekend. Your schedule may change based on operational needs.
• Overtime and travel as needed
• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Two years as a Residential Services Aide (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration) ; or
• Two years of paid experience performing direct care and habilitative program services for individuals with a developmental disability ; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.

• You must be able to perform essential job functions.
  
  

Legal Requirements:

• A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
• This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
• Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
