Lottery Sales Representative (District Lottery Representative)

The Pennsylvania Lottery is looking for an experienced, energetic sales professional to serve a specific sales territory within the Centre or Blair County area.

As a Lottery Sales Representative, you will support current retailers and work with them to grow their sales. You will also use your sales skills to recruit new retailers, explain the benefits of joining our network, and share tips to help them succeed. Best of all, you will be working for one of the most respected brands in Pennsylvania and on behalf of a very important mission: to generate funding to benefit older Pennsylvanians. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
• Work hours are 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM, Wednesday - Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • During training, work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday.
• This position is home headquartered, however you will be expected to report to the assigned area office on a weekly basis.
• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
• Overtime may be required on a limited basis
• You must be able to work and drive in all types of weather conditions.
• Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Four years of experience in progressively responsible sales or marketing work; or
• Any equivalent experience and training.

Special Requirements:

• You must possess a valid motor vehicle operator's license.

Additional Requirements:

• You must abide by the prohibition guidelines and refrain from gambling in Pennsylvania casinos, or any casino outside of Pennsylvania with the same owners.
• This position will travel to cover Centre or Blair County. The candidate must reside in Centre or Blair County. Relocation is not an option.
• You must have four or more years of sales experience.
• You must have four or more years of customer service experience in a sales environment.
• You must be able to lift/carry up to 40 pounds.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.
