DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will perform a range of general labor tasks, including mowing grass, removing snow, landscaping, maintaining equipment, and completing minor masonry, carpentry, and plumbing work. Additional duties include painting, assisting maintenance staff, and loading and unloading materials. All work must be completed in accordance with DMVA general safety guidelines and the specific safety requirements for this position. Assignments are provided daily based on scheduled preventive maintenance programs and operational needs.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 1st shift (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM), Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: The starting salary for new Commonwealth employees is the fixed, non-negotiable minimum listed above.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Conditions of Employment:
- This position requires possession of a valid PA non-commercial Class C driver’s license or equivalent.
Additional Requirement:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
- Willingness and ability to work in Spring City, Pennsylvania
- Experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction
- Experience in maintenance and electrical work
- Experience with hand tools and power tools
- Experience in general labor
- Willingness to work outside, potentially in adverse weather conditions
Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
