Quality Assurance/Risk Management Director Ebensburg Center

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This role leads facility-wide quality improvement and risk management efforts to support resilient services and secure operations. The work guides planning, evaluation, and oversight across multiple departments. As a Quality Assurance/Risk Management Director, you will perform the following duties:

• Program Leadership: Plan, direct, and evaluate quality improvement, risk management, and related operational activities
• Standards Development: Collaborate with leadership to establish goals, benchmarks, and criteria for facility performance
• Policy Guidance: Develop policies, procedures, and evaluation methods to support compliance and best practices
• Risk Oversight: Review incident reports, complaints, and inquiries to recommend appropriate corrective actions
• Service Monitoring: Assess service delivery, review outcomes, and guide improvements across clinical and non-clinical programs
• Team Collaboration: Work with administrative staff, managers, and departments to support planning and operational success

• Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. This may change based on operational needs.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

• One year of experience as a Quality Assurance/Risk Management Coordinator (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
• Two years of experience as a Quality Assurance/Risk Management Specialist (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
• Four years of professional experience as a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team in a public or private healthcare facility, and a bachelor’s degree; or
• Four years of clinical experience in a human services agency, including three years of professional, evaluative, consultative, or supervisory work in a healthcare program, and a bachelor’s degree; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes four years of professional, evaluative, consultative, or supervisory work in a healthcare program.

• A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
