DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position centers on providing practical nursing services to individuals at the Selinsgrove Center while supporting the overall nursing team. You help ensure that safe, consistent, and effective care is delivered each day. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will perform the following duties:
- Nursing Care: Carry out practical nursing practices to support individual wellness
- Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to established guidelines
- Health Observation: Observe and report vital signs, symptoms, and reactions to health care staff
- Medical Assistance: Assist physicians and medical professionals during rounds and individual assessments
- Documentation Work: Record accurate clinical information and maintain required reports
Work hours and additional information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 3rd Shift, 10:15 AM - 6:15 AM
- You will have rotating break days with every other weekend off
- Holidays as assigned
- Travel and overtime as needed

- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $68,914.00 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Necessary Special Requirements:
- This position requires active authorization to practice as a Licensed Practice Nurse in Pennsylvania.
- All employees possessing an active temporary practice permit must obtain licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
Other Requirements:
- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
- If you are within 60 days of completing a licensed practical nursing program approved by the State Board of Nursing, you are eligible to apply for this job posting. At the time of appointment to a position, you must show proof of possession of a current, valid PA temporary practice permit or PA Licensed Practical Nurse license.
