DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position supports the daily operations of a Driver License Center by assisting customers and carrying out important licensing tasks. As a Driver License Examiner Assistant, you will perform the following duties:

• Customer Interaction: Greet customers, verify identification, and provide needed forms and information
• Test Administration: Conduct vision screenings and administer standardized knowledge tests
• Data Entry: Enter customer applications and test results into online systems
• Service Guidance: Respond to customer questions and explain requirements for various license products
• Regulatory Compliance: Apply REAL ID rules, fee waiver guidelines, and Title VI requirements correctly
• Work Area Maintenance: Maintain an organized, clean, and accessible workstation

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM, Tuesday - Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Work overtime and travel to other Driver License Centers when needed
• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
• Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• One year of experience obtaining, evaluating, and providing information to the public.
