DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As an Aide Trainee, you will be responsible and accountable for learning the duties of a Residential Services Aide and begin with a paid in-classroom and on-the-job training program. You will learn how to care for and assist people with Intellectual Disabilities living at the Selinsgrove Center. Upon successful completion of a six-month probationary period as an Aide Trainee, you will be promoted to a Residential Services Aide.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment.
• Work hours during training: 1st shift 8:00am - 4:30pm
• Work hours after training: 1st shift 6:00am - 2:30pm, with a 30 minute lunch.
• Rotating schedule with every third weekend off.
• Travel and overtime as needed.
• Multiple positions may be filled from this posting.

• Salary:Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $39,245.00 (before taxes).
