The Thomson-Hood Veterans Center is a skilled nursing Facility that cares for the Commonwealth of Kentucky’s Veterans. Our mission is to serve Kentucky’s Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity, and providing compassionate care. We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic Housekeeper who possesses the desire to care for Kentucky’s Veterans.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: NONE
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: NONE

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): NONE
Working Conditions
May risk exposure to chemicals associated with cleaning supplies or burns in operation of laundry machinery.
Probationary Period
This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
