We serve diverse communities across Outpatient (OP), In-Home Therapy (IHT), Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment, and youth skill-building services
Role Summary
Provide direct clinical services that include OP, IHT and SUD counseling. the position also includes the following clinical skills: assessment, treatment planning, evidence-based interventions, care coordination, experience using EHR systems for documentation of clinical records.
To optimize capacity, this position will support additional clinical task that include, but are not limited to assisting with intake operations and the CBHI wait-list for youth services when clinical schedule allows.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care
Conduct completing comprehensive assessments; develop, being CANS certified, implement person-centered treatment and submitting weekly progress notes
Deliver individual, family, and/or group therapy in OP and/or IHT; provide SUD counseling as applicable.
Collaborate with guardians, TT&S workers, Therapeutic Mentors, schools, and community providers to advance treatment goals.
Maintain timely, accurate documentation (assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, disclosures) and uphold HIPAA confidentiality.
Provide care coordination, safety planning, and appropriate referrals to community resources.
Intake & Access Support (as needed)
Assist in managing the CBHI wait-list: track referrals, identify openings, and communicate status updates to families and referrers.
Field and triage incoming referrals; explain CMHWC programs and care pathways (OP/IHT/SUD/youth services).
Coordinate and schedule intakes; match clients to clinicians based on need, language, location, and availability.
Support insurance/coverage checks and intake paperwork to ensure smooth onboarding.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or related behavioral health field.
- Massachusetts licensure or license-eligibility (LMHC, LCSW/LICSW)
- Experience providing mental health services (outpatient and/or home-based preferred).
- Strong organizational skills and comfort balancing clinical caseload with light intake/administrative tasks.
- Clear, compassionate communication with clients and multidisciplinary teams; strong phone and email etiquette.
- Proficiency with EHR and standard office software.
- Bilingual—Spanish/English strongly preferred.
Work Setting & Hours
- In-Office and Hybrid and telehealth care.
- Some early evening hours may be needed to reach families’ schedules.
- Occasional coverage of intake phone.
Compensation & Benefits
- Full Time position $65,000 -$70,000
