Position: Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) – Urgent Care
Location: San Antonio Texas
Schedule: Full-Time, 4 Days/Week
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Urgent Care team. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. You will work alongside a collaborative healthcare team to diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of acute and non-emergent medical conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide urgent care services for patients of all ages, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Perform procedures such as wound care, suturing, splinting, and other minor interventions.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.).
- Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Document patient encounters in the electronic medical record system accurately and timely.
Qualifications:
- Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license.
- National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA).
- Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or Family Practice experience preferred.
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting salary: $150,000 annually
