About Us:
The Caturus platform was founded by Kimmeridge, an alternative asset manager focused on the energy sector, with subsequent additional investment by Mubadala Energy. Caturus is building an independent, fully integrated natural gas and LNG export platform in the U.S. through a combination of its upstream operations and Commonwealth LNG, a 9.5 Mtpa LNG export terminal in southwestern Louisiana. Together, they will provide low-cost energy on demand with the lowest carbon footprint.
Position Summary:
The Interface & Risk Reporting Manager is responsible for the management and the coordination of risk mitigation and commercial aspects of internal and external interfaces for company liquefied natural gas project(s). A large part of the role will be to work with the EPC team to lead the monitor, evaluation and execution of risk mitigation plans to effectively de-risk the project. Works cross functionally with project areas to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner and develop solutions for issues and forecasted issues. Develops and utilizes interface management plans to track and monitor. Maintains associated documentation all in accordance with the Project Execution Plan. Utilizes standardized project control processes and tools.
Key Accountabilities:
- Prepare and monitor, evaluation and execution of risk mitigation plans.
- Manage and coordinate all internal and external project interfaces.
- Consult with project stakeholders for activity completion.
- Support updates to the Project Execution Plan and Risk Register.
- Collaborate with project team members and stakeholders as needed.
- Resolve business conflicts and analyze issues effectively.
- Manage project related internal and external communications with customers, suppliers and Owner’s project execution team.
- Keep stakeholders informed by supporting standard and ad-hoc reports.
- Accurate project status and progress information communicated to stakeholders regularly, support team with completing monthly reports.
- All project work meets project objectives.
Qualifications:
Education, Certificates, and Licenses:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or a related field required.
Experience:
- 15 years of experience in US-based LNG projects or major capital projects required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong coordination & organizational skills.
- Strong analytics and problem-solving skills.
- Strong risk management (Schedule and Cost) Montecarlo simulation skills.
- Understanding of engineering development and construction cycle for major LNG or processing plant projects.
- Strong and broad technical knowledge across most aspects of oil and gas development.
- Sound knowledge of project execution processes and tools, including planning, scheduling and estimating.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Dynamic and enthusiastic approach is essential.
- Experience in planning and management of others is desirable.
- Experience in preparing very high -quality presentations for executive reviews and board meetings.
- Experience of interface management.
