Responsibilities
- Develop and modify electrical drawings using Revit and AutoCAD, including power, lighting, and instrumentation systems.
- Produce construction documents, plans, diagrams, schedules, and details in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Coordinate electrical designs with civil, architectural, mechanical, structural, and other disciplines to ensure fully integrated project deliverables.
- Assist in performing load calculations, equipment layouts, and circuiting under the direction of a licensed engineer.
- Maintain and update project models, families, and templates within Revit.
- Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable codes.
- Support project teams through all phases, from conceptual design to construction administration.
- Participate in internal design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of drafting and modeling standards.
- 2–5 years of experience as an electrical designer or similar role
- Proficiency in Revit (MEP focus) and AutoCAD for electrical design
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, including lighting and power distribution systems
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, specifications, and engineering sketches
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
