Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Office Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our office facilities. Duties
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of office floors and surfaces
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and common areas regularly
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass surfaces, and doorways
- Handle trash removal and recycling procedures efficiently
- Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment safely and effectively
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, polishing, or stripping as needed
- Assist with light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or minor repairs when necessary
- Follow established safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
Requirements
- Proven experience in janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning roles preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and stripping
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning, facilities maintenance, or residential painting is a plus
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable work ethic with the ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Prior porter or custodial experience is advantageous but not mandatory
- Must be able to pass background checks if required by the employer
