JOB SUMMARY:

Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons across a range of transition-focused topics, including:
- Financial Literacy
- Activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Job readiness and vocational skills
- Self-advocacy and decision-making
- Social and emotional learning (SEL)
- Basic meal preparation and nutrition
- Career awareness and exploration
- Responsible and safe technology use
- Community participation and navigation skills
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Candidates must hold a valid collegiate or postgraduate professional license in Special Education Career and Technical Education, or Family Consumer Science.
- Experience working with children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral challenges.
- Knowledge of transition planning, IEPs, and vocational/independent living skill instruction.
- Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Passion for empowering youth and fostering resilience and independence.
11-month contract (220 days).
