What are the responsibilities and job description for the Credit Underwriter III position at Commonwealth Business B?
LOCATION: CBB Headquarters (On-site)
POSITION OVERVIEW
Underwrites and processes new loan request; Servicing existing portfolio and its management
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures all information is accurate and complete. All guidelines, policies and procedures, and regulation are to be followed
- Creates financial spreadsheets and analyze, structure and underwrite commercial loans
- Originates loans from application to closing and works closely with Escrow, Title and all parties involved
- Monitors and reports delinquencies
- Prepares loan compliance reports
- Timely collection of financial and other ticker updates
- Conducts site visitation
- Services assigned portfolio’s new and existing clients
- Complies fully with all Bank policies and procedures as well as all regulatory requirements (e.g. Bank Secrecy Act, Anti Money Laundering, Code of Conduct, and etc.). Must complete all required training
SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
- Working knowledge on credit analysis
- Ability to work on multiple loans simultaneously
- Excellent time management
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Effective written, verbal and organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited 4-year University
- Minimum 5 years of experience in lending
