What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at Commonwealth Attorney's Office?
The position is full-time with benefits and requires a minimum of 37.5 hours per week. The salary for this position is between $36,000.00 - $40,000.00 as approved by the Prosecutors Advisory Council.
General Characteristics:
Performs professional level work as an administrative assistant, discovery clerk, victim contact, and performs other office duties as required.
Minimum Requirements: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor’s degree or at least two years of experience in the field of criminal justice, crime victims’ assistance, administration, or work dealing with the public, or a related field, or Highschool degree with four year's experience in the human services field.
Specific Duties/Responsibilities:
Performs clerical work as needed. Assists in information gathering and victim contact/advocacy as needed. Manages discovery. Other office work duties as determined by the Commonwealth Attorney.
Typical Working Conditions:
Duties are performed primarily in both office and courtroom settings. Travel may be required for applicable training events.
