Roseburg is located on Interstate 5 in Southern Oregon's scenic Douglas County. The community is nestled in a lush forested region known as the 100 Valleys of the Umpqua. Responsibilities
Shift: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
Job Summary:
Responsible for the assessment and delivery of counseling services to patients receiving mental health and/or addiction services. May provide evaluation to the Emergency Room/medical units for referred patients to BHU. Provides therapy and case management services including assessment, individual, family and group therapy, family psychoeducation and discharge planning.
Essential Duties:
Assesses the behavioral health needs of patients referred for treatment of mental health or addiction services.
Assesses, communicates and documents risks related to potential harm to self or others.
Provides a psychosocial assessment.
Participates and implements discharge planning.
Provides individual, family and group psychotherapy.
Implements intervention techniques.
Qualifications
License/Certifications:
- Oregon LCSW or CSWA with one (1) year of experience in a healthcare settting (LCSW licensure required within 2 years)
Experience:
- Two (2) years experience in evaluation and clinical intervention with a mental health population preferred
Education:
- Masters in Social Work
