In keeping with the Arroyo Grande Community Hospital’s health care philosophy, the Registered Nurse manages quality patient care through the nursing process. Reports to the Director of Surgical Services. Responsibilities include assessment, planning,
intervention, evaluation and documentation of surgical patients. Overall responsibility is for the nursing
care of patients and for maintaining standards of nursing practice and optimal outcomes, including
supervision of OR Technicians. Directly assists surgeon intraoperatively, assists with patient positioning
and directing other surgical team members while practicing perioperative nursing.

$48.43 - $72.26 /hour

*Job Requirements*
- 2 years Perioperative Practice
- Current California RN License
- CNOR Certification
- BLS CPR certification - may be obtained within 30 days from date of hire
- ACLS certification - may be obtained within 30 days from date of hire
- Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
