Registrar Quality Coordinator

*Job Summary and Responsibilities*

As our Registrar, you will provide crucial clerical support for our professional caregivers by expertly managing all functions related to patient registration.

Every day you will meticulously handle registration, insurance verification, financial assistance information, and Point of Service Collections. You will also be responsible for accurate data input and record keeping, ensuring the integrity of patient information and financial transactions, while meticulously adhering to all credit card handling processes due to potential access to sensitive third-party credit card information.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational and clerical skills, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and compliance with financial regulations. Your ability to accurately manage complex administrative tasks will directly support seamless patient care and operational efficiency.

• Reviews identified accounts and resolves issues by obtaining or correcting information
• Documents and reports trends and/or learning opportunities to clinical supervisor and Registration educator utilizing approved department document.
• Workman compensation validates registration information and correct errors as indicated to ensure accurate and timely billing of visit.
• Personal Pay validate registration information to ensure accurate billing, correct codes as indicated and provide education as needed
• MS4 daily census validate registration information with Cerner reports to ensure accurate clinic statistics. Enter department statistics into designated folder on the Y drive. Correct errors as indicated
• MS4 error report review daily and follow up as indicated
  
  

*Job Requirements**Required*

• High School GED or equivalent combination of experience and/or education and
• Three (3) year experience in priorauthorization, pre certification, insurance benefits and how they apply to hospital registration or medical office setting
  
  

*Preferred*

• Two years experience as Lead/Sr Registrar in an urgent care setting
