Job Summary and Responsibilities
Mercy Medical Group (MMG), a large multi-specialty medical group in the Sacramento region, is looking to add a full time Board Certified OB Hospitalist Physician to their team. Responsibilities would include covering the OB emergency department, covering patients in labor & delivery, providing emergency gynecological consults, and being available for surgical assist needs. - Incoming physicians would be based out of Methodist Hospital of Sacramento
- Hospital does approximately 1800 births/year
- 24 hour back-up Ob on-call.
- Full time would be twelve 12 hour shifts/month and shifts can be done as 24 hour shifts.
- Additional compensation provided for doing additional shifts.
- Level II nursery with support from the Level lll NICU at Mercy San Juan Medical Center

- Compensation Range: $330,000- $339,000 plus bonuses.
Job Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Board-Certified in OB/Gyn (ABMS or AOA)
- Active California medical license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA certification
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Passion for delivering compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment
