Bay Area Living – OB/GYN Physician with Dignity Health Medical Group – Sequoia in Redwood City, CA

Dignity Health Medical Group – Sequoia, a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation, is seeking a BE/BC Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician (OB/GYN) to join our patient-centered team in Redwood City, CA.   • Collaborative Environment: Work alongside established, well-respected OB/GYN providers from Dignity Health and Stanford Health in a shared call model (1:6). Collaborate closely with Nurse Practitioners, experienced support staff, and an integrated care team.
  • Practice Structure:
      • 3-4 clinic days per week (flexible scheduling)
      • Shared call model (1:6)
      • Physician-led care supported by experienced NPs and clinical staff
      • Opportunity for additional ED call shifts for supplemental income
  • Hospital Facilities:
    • Modern, well-equipped birthing center at Sequoia Hospital
    • Approximately 1,000 deliveries annually
    • 24/7 anesthesia coverage by experienced anesthesiologists
    • Dedicated OB Emergency Department
    • Strong partnership with Stanford Medicine for tertiary care access

Compensation and Benefits

  • Guaranteed Salary: $375,000 – $400,000 productivity incentives
    • Sign-on Bonus: Up to $125,000
    • Relocation Assistance: Up to $20,000
    • Student Loan Repayment Assistance
  • ED call shifts available for additional compensation

Job Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, compassionate care in both outpatient and hospital settings.
  • Perform routine exams, manage prenatal and postnatal care, and conduct obstetric and gynecologic procedures.
  • Participate in deliveries, surgeries, and on-call hospital coverage.
  • Collaborate with NPs and other team members to enhance patient outcomes and experiences.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and uphold best practices in patient safety and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Active California medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA certification
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care
