You'll play a crucial role in providing optimal nutritional care, delivering safe meals, and demonstrating excellent customer service to patients, guests, and staff.
You will:
- Industry Standard Adherence: Follow healthcare foodservice standards, regulations, and guidelines (food temps, cross-contamination, hygiene, labeling, storage).
- Food Prep & Service: Prepare/serve food within menu/dietary guidelines; know recipe ingredients for allergy questions.
- Customer Experience: Ensure high-quality patient/customer experience with proper meal portioning and presentation.
- Diverse Responsibilities (may include): Coffee shop, cashiering, retail serving, patient tray assembly/delivery, cold food prep, utility assignments (dishwashing), catering, inventory support, general cleaning.
What You'll Bring:
- Food Service Experience: Minimum one (1) year.
- Safety & Hygiene Focus: Strong commitment to food safety and sanitation.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous in preparation, presentation, and cleanliness.
- Required Licensure and/or Certification:
- Food Handler’s Card within thirty (30) days.
- Preferred Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent; cashier experience.
