Job Summary and Responsibilities
St. Michael Cancer Center, part of Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, is seeking an experienced hematology/oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team. We pride ourselves in practicing high quality, evidence based, and patient centered medicine. We have a strong culture of collegiality and team approach to decision making. In our ongoing effort to expand our exceptional care to regions in the Puget Sound, we are looking for a well-trained, collegial, caring APP who is motivated to provide the best possible patient care in Silverdale, WA.
Job Requirements
- Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Current Washington State ARNP/P.A. license or active license prior to starting.
- Minimum one year of advanced practice experience (ARNP/P.A) working with Oncology and Hematology patients.
- Prior experience with EPIC a plus, but not required
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships with physicians, and hospital staff, patients and their families
- Excellent communication skills and professionalism
- Strong commitment to patient care team concept and privacy guidelines
