Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Medication Aide, you will safely and accurately administer medications to residents/patients as directed by licensed nursing staff or physicians, under direct supervision, while adhering to protocols and promoting well-being.Every day you will prepare and administer prescribed oral, topical, and non-injectable medications, meticulously verifying the five rights. Your role includes maintaining accurate medication records, ensuring proper storage and security, and assisting with activities of daily living as needed.To be successful in this role, you will possess strong attention to detail, accuracy, and a compassionate approach. Excellent observation, documentation, and communication skills, adaptability, and a commitment to patient safety and teamwork are essential.
