Responsible for a continuum of services providing care to patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic and other physically-related disorders requiring mobility training, strengthening, modalities, specialized manual therapy and neuromuscular re-education through an interdisciplinary approach. Utilizes rehab process to promote and restore optimal health and well-being of the patient. Assumes personal accountability for organizational mission and core values. In addition to caring for patients as described above, the Lead Therapist may serve in a mentoring capacity for the therapy staff and oversees day to day operations of the unit or clinic including, staffing, scheduling of patients, regulatory compliance, staff professional development, marketing and physician relations.
Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in physical therapy or occupational therapy or Master's degree in speech language pathology
Master's preferred
Two years of applicable work experience providing direct patient care in outpatient, inpatient or inpatient rehab unitPrevious leadership experience, preferredPrior use of electronic medical records (EMR), preferred
Current state of employment licensure in physical therapy OR current state of employment licensure in occupational therapy and Registered Occupational Therapist OR current state of employment licensure in speech language pathology and Certification of Clinical Competence from the American-Speech- Language-Hearing AssociationBLS Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantlyWhere You’ll Work
