What are the responsibilities and job description for the ICU RN position at CommonSpirit Health?
*Job Summary and Responsibilities*
As a Critical Care Nurse at CHI Health, you’ll monitor patients who are critically ill and unstable following extensive injury, surgery, or life-threatening disease.
Every day you will begin with a patient report from a nursing teammate before making your rounds. You’ll continue to provide whatever care or procedures are required throughout the shift. This could mean assisting a physician with a chest tube or central line, providing wound care, transporting the patient for an MRI or CT, or administering medications. To thrive in this role, you’ll heavily depend on your ability to multitask and react. You’ll clinically care for your patients, remain focused and attentive, and advocate for their best interests. It is your sound judgment during an emergency and rapid response that puts you on the radar for advancement.
To be successful in this role you will bring strong clinical judgment, a holistic approach to patient care, and a genuine commitment to CHI Health's mission and values.
Compensation: Base rate shift differential
Incentives: up to $10,000 sign on bonus, up to $10,000 education assistance (must have graduated within 5 years)
