Position Summary: Must be confident to perform EKG's Use ability to communicate clearly in verbal English Use ability to communicate clearly in written English Work at a fast pace in an active work environment Stand and walk for prolonged periods of time. 

Minimum Requirements:

• 1-2 years of acute care experience required
• High school graduate or equivalent technical training
• Employees hired after 12/31/2015 - Certified Nursing Assistant or LVN or EMT
• Employees hired prior to 12/31/2015 - CNA or LVN
• Current BLS required
• Must have EKG technician competency completed within 90 days of hire and as part of the annual competency thereafter

• Work at a fast pace in an active work environment
• Stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
• Must be confident to perform EKG's

Preferred Requirements:

• At least 1-2 years of emergency department experience preferred (or at least 1-2 years Pre-Hospital EMT or Paramedic experience).

Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
