Job Summary and Responsibilities
Develops, coordinates and provides employee health, wellness and preventive health services as well as healtheducation and guidance to all employees.
- Pre-Employment Physical Examinations Performs pre-employment health assessments for all new hires.
- Employee TB Prevention Program and FIT Respirator Testing
- Administers TB skin testing to all employees, interprets results of skin tests and if necessary (positive), orders chest x-ray and coordinates skin testing program for organization.
- Administers Employee FIT Respirator Testing for all employees.
- Volunteer TB Screening Program for Volunteers
- Administers TB skin testing for all YRMC volunteers and does follow up skin test interpretation.
- Administers Tuberculin Skin Testing.
Job Requirements
Required
High School Graduate/GED
Two years of clinical nursing experience
Registered Nurse: AZ
Basic Life Support - CPR
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing providing excellent customer service.Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities/tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Windows.
Preferred
Two years of Employee Wellness/HealthNurse experience. and
Electronic medical record experience
