Job Summary and Responsibilities
Expectations
Quickly assess and prioritize care based on trauma for all patient populations
Stabilize patients needing emergency care
Work with an experienced supportive team of emergency professionals including emergency physicians other emergency-trained nurses licensed radiologists and certified laboratory technologistsDemonstrate a passion for excellence in emergency medicine
Job Requirements
Minimum RequirementsAssociates Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing programCurrent Registered Nurse (RN) license active with the Board of Nursing within the state you are practicing or a nursing license with eNLC practice privilegesBasic Life Support (BLS)PALS & ACLS is required within 6 months of start date
Preferred RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)Experience as an ER RN or Trauma NurseCertified Emergency Nurse (CEN) CertificationTrauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)To find new grad positions @ CHI Memorial be sure to search “RN residency”
