Responsibilities
About the Role:
As an Echo Tech at St. Clare Hospital, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic echocardiography services to our patients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing a full range of echocardiographic studies, including transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms.
- Maintaining and operating echocardiography equipment.
- Preparing patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and understanding.
- Accurately documenting patient information and test results.
- Collaborating effectively with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals.
- Adhering to strict quality control and infection control protocols.
Qualifications
About You:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Echo Technologist who possesses:
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Echo Technologist in a hospital setting.
- Proficiency in performing all types of echocardiographic studies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
