Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans and other radiologic procedures according to established protocols.
- Obtain pertinent medical history from patients and assess their condition.
- Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition during exams.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain a demeanor that is complimentary to medical ethics.
- Utilize immobilizing devices as needed for patient safety.
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain radiation safety standards and adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (JRCERT or military equivalent).
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certified in Radiography (RTR).
- Arkansas Medical Radiographer license (MRAD:AR).
- Basic Life Support (BLS-CPR) certification.
