*Job Summary and Responsibilities*
The responsibilities for a Clinical Laboratory Scientist II include performance of all test procedures in the assigned section. The Core Laboratory incumbent must be able to work in all areas of the Core Lab (Chemistry, Coag/UA, and Hematology). The position in Blood Bank and Microbiology must be able to work in all areas within the section. The position for shifts II/III must be able to work in all sections of the laboratory. The Clinical Laboratory Scientist must be able to perform the duties accurately, efficiently and independently, meeting the standards of all departments. In addition, the Clinical Laboratory Scientist II is expected to initiate QC failure corrective action, participate in inventory control, perform instrument preventive maintenance and troubleshoot instrument and reagent problems.

$52.04 - $77.42 /hour

*Job Requirements*
- Three years bench experience is required with some supervisory experience is helpful.
- A Master's Degree in relevant laboratory science or in management is desirable or equivalent work experience may be substituted for academic requirements.
- A current State of California license as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist is required.
- ASCP registration or equivalent preferred.
