Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Cath Lab Tech, you will help deliver excellent patient care by performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular disease in the cath lab setting.Every day you’ll independently operate all ancillary equipment in the lab including but not limited to: IVUS, pressure wire, rotablator, IMPELLA, atherectomy devices, laser and angiojet. You will demonstrate competencies in scrubbing techniques of all diagnostic and interventional procedures, utilize good radiation safety practices and you will make a positive impact on internal and external customers. To be successful in this role, you'll need to fully understand the importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes knowledge of the general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and capturing clear results for timely and accurate diagnosis.
- Knowledgeable and demonstrated competency in the performance of diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath's, peripheral, neuro, and EP procedures
- Knowledgeable in the performance of Electrophysiological studies and in the operation of Physiological Monitoring systems for diagnostic, interventional studies
- Accurately enters and records pertinent patient data, documents events, and calculates valve areas
- Able to take Scrub Call Independently and assist Physician's in acute MI and Stroke procedures on unstable patients
- Keeps an accurate log of events, to include medications, hemodynamics, supplies, and procedures performed
- Scrubs at tableside assisting physician with procedure

Job Requirements
- Associates of Science Degree
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) - Within 18 months of hire
- BLS-CPR - Within 14 days of hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - Within 6 months of hire
