Job Summary and Responsibilities
Part time- Days
Perform diagnostic breast ultrasound imaging, assist with ultrasound guided interventional procedures and assist
radiologists with complete imaging work up. Familiar with all diagnostic imaging approved instrumentation used in
ultrasound. Perform mammography when needed.
Perform precision ultrasound studies on all patientsResponsible for daily quality control of the ultrasound unitsCommunicate with Biomed when repairs are needed; communicate such to Coordinator and Director.Manage documentation, data entry and charges for all breast ultrasound proceduresAssist with development of policy and procedures for breast ultrasoundResponsible for daily restocking of ultrasound roomParticipates in orientation and training of new employees, students and others as appropriateAssist with productivity, find work during downtimeExcellent customer service

Job Requirements
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) Required
Within 12 months: Registered Technologist Breast Sonography (RTBS) or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Breast (RDMSBR) Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR)
