Job Description
As a Security Officer, you will work under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the Emergency Department and remaining alert for fire and safety hazards
- Controlling access into the facility and responding to all emergency codes
- Helping to enforce hospital policies to provide a safe and secure environment for patients, employees, and visitors
Requirements:
- 3 years of security-related experience in a healthcare setting, or equivalent security experience outside of healthcare, or law enforcement
- 6 years of security-related experience in a healthcare setting or law enforcement, preferred
