The Information Technology department seeks an intern to manage projects, asset management, and
help-desk technical support.
Required Qualifications
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Already obtained or currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology or a related field (or
equivalent experience).
• Basic troubleshooting knowledge of Microsoft 365 user environment, desktop hardware, networking.
• Ability to work independently and with a team, manage time effectively, and document changes.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Microsoft InTune, Entra ID, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Experience with wired and wireless networking fundamentals: DNS, DHCP, and subnetting.
• Experience with IT Accounting
• Interest in learning about IT asset management, financial impacts of IT, and operational
decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
Printer Asset Project
The intern will lead a project focused on printer inventory and associated service contracts.
Responsibilities include:
• Locating and identifying printers across the organization’s properties.
• Verifying that each device matches existing asset records.
• Documenting discrepancies and updating inventory information.
• Terminating or transferring printer lease contracts, based on the needs of each property.
• Communicating findings to IT leadership and coordinating next steps.
Phone Asset Verification Project
The intern will assist in a project for offboarding phone systems to properties. Responsibilities include:
• Verifying phone numbers and equipment at locations
• Removing unneeded lines
• Documenting the current state
Helpdesk Support
The intern will assist with IT support for CommonBond’s staff. Responsibilities include:
• Using remote support tools and helping in person to assist end users with basic technical issues.
• Providing friendly, high quality, and professional customer service to internal staff.

Essential Functions
• Able to move technology hardware up to 40 lbs (for equipment setup, organization, and
transportation)
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel locally in Minnesota. (federal mileage
reimbursement will be compensated)
• Able to read and respond to emails in English
