We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Part-Time Program Coordinator to lead a team dedicated to empowering individuals to live their best lives. This role involves mentoring staff, developing meaningful goals for individuals served, and ensuring high-quality, person-centered services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Leadership & Oversight
- Lead and oversee a team to deliver services that align with the OVRS mission and principles of Person-Centered Planning.
- Directly supervise Home Coordinators and provide secondary supervision for Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
- Provide coverage and oversight for programs when Home Coordinator positions are vacant or staff are unavailable.
- Collaborate with the Director of Program Services to enhance service delivery, ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards, and support continuous quality improvement.
2. Individualized Support & Program Management
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized goals and support plans in collaboration with each individual’s team.
- Assess individuals’ strengths, needs, and interests to design personalized supports that foster independence, growth, and self-determination.
- Mentor staff to adopt a coaching approach that empowers individuals served to reach their fullest potential.
3. Staff Development & Performance
- Evaluate staff performance and provide coaching, feedback, and training to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Administer performance improvement and disciplinary processes as needed.
- Coordinate cross-training across all Indianapolis sites to ensure all staff are trained and able to work at any location when needed.
4. Administrative & Operational Duties
- Conduct weekly site audits (review ledgers, receipts, gas receipts, van logs, medication storage, and delivery records) and monthly audits to verify ongoing compliance.
- Maintain organized, clean, and compliant medication closets and ensure all required documentation is complete and up to date.
- Manage company vehicle standards—ensuring vans are fueled weekly, cleaned inside and out monthly, and that related expenses are documented through petty cash or receipts.
- Ensure no company property (program books, debit cards, gas cards, SNAP cards, etc.) is kept in personal vehicles or homes—all items must remain at designated offices or sites.
- Review and approve all check requests with corresponding ledgers; managers are responsible for taking consumers to the bank, cashing checks, and completing all required documentation.
- Oversee staffing levels and step in to cover open shifts as needed to ensure program continuity.
- Ensure all team members maintain functional company-issued phones and conduct business during standard hours (8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday).
5. Meetings & Scheduling
- Attend all quarterly meetings and ensure they are added to the Director’s calendar when held during in-office days.
- Maintain an on-site schedule of Up to 30 hours a week.
Qualification Requirements:
Education & Credentials:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Public Health) or equivalent experience (Preferred)
Experience:
- Experience in Residential or Home Health settings strongly preferred
- Previous experience in program coordination or management, preferably in the behavioral health field
- Experience supervising staff and managing interdisciplinary teams is a plus
