Job Title: Event & Sales Manager (a.k.a. Experience Creator Extraordinaire)
Location: Common Man Inn Plymouth NH
Reports To: Director of Sales
About the Role
Are you the kind of person who gets a thrill from turning ideas into unforgettable experiences? Do you love the buzz of closing a deal just as much as seeing a room come to life on event day? If so, this role is calling your name.
We’re looking for an Event & Sales Manager who leads with passion, thinks creatively, and genuinely loves people. This isn’t just about hitting targets (though you’ll do that too)—it’s about creating moments that matter and building relationships that last.

- Generate new business through networking, outreach, and a little bit of charm
- Craft proposals that feel exciting, personal, and impossible to say no to
- Hit (and crush) sales goals while having fun doing it
Bringing Events to Life
- Guide clients from “just an idea” to “that was incredible!”
- Collaborate with internal teams to make every detail count
- Be the calm, confident presence clients trust throughout the planning process
- Be ready to step into event mode and ensure everything runs smoothly
Building Real Relationships
- Create genuine connections with clients, vendors, and partners
- Turn first-time clients into raving fans
- Be a natural host—someone people enjoy working with and remember
Staying Inspired
- Keep up with trends in events, hospitality, and experiences
- Bring fresh ideas to the table—always asking “how can we make this even better?”
- Represent the brand at events, networking functions, and in the community
What We’re Looking For
- Someone who loves events and thrives in a fast-paced, people-centered environment
- A natural storyteller and communicator who can sell with authenticity
- 3 years in event sales, hospitality, or a related field
- A self-starter who brings energy, ideas, and initiative every day
- Strong organizational skills (because magic still needs a plan)
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends when events call for it
What Makes You a Perfect Fit
- You’re driven—but in a “let’s build something amazing” way, not just numbers
- You care about the little details because you know they create big moments
- You’re equal parts creative thinker and get-it-done executor
- You bring positive energy wherever you go
What You’ll Get
- A role where your creativity and personality actually matter
- A team that values passion, collaboration, and big ideas
- Competitive salary commission (because your hustle should pay off)
- Opportunities to grow, innovate, and make your mark
- The chance to create experiences people will talk about long after they end
- 401k with an unlimited 25% MATCH!!!!
- Paid vacations
- Company perks
- A company with a 55 year history of making memories and taking the very best care of our guests.
