We’re seeking experienced horticulture professionals who take pride in high-quality results, teamwork, and excellent customer communication. Landscape Gardeners care for, and maintain beautiful residential and commercial gardens. This position focuses on hands‑on horticultural work, including planting, pruning, weeding, and landscape bed maintenance. We are looking to fill both Entry level and Lead Gardener roles. Full or Part time -Seasonal work April-November. Entry Level Candidates-$18-20/HR --Experienced Lead Gardener Candidates-$21-$24/HR.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain annual and perennial landscape beds
- Plant flowers, shrubs, and other plant materials
- Perform bed cleanups, weeding, mulching, and pruning
- Assist with small‑scale landscape installations
- Work as part of a crew to deliver high‑quality results
- Communicate professionally with teammates and customers
- Follow safety procedures and work efficiently in all weather conditions
Requirements
- General knowledge of plants and basic plant care
- Ability to lift 40–50 lbs and perform physical work for extended periods
- Comfortable working outdoors in heat, cold, wind, and humidity
- Reliable, punctual, and safety‑conscious
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and cell phone (local travel required)
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 years of gardening, horticulture, or landscaping experience
- Experience using landscape equipment (leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, weed trimmers)
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience
- Pesticide Applicator License (MN or WI)
- Experience driving a truck and trailer
