What are the responsibilities and job description for the Visitation Specialist position at Common Ground Family Services, LLC?
We are a private social service agency providing supervised visitation, monitored exchange, and conflict resolution services to help visiting parents maintain and / or develop healthy bonds with their children while the legal issues are resolved through court. Our mission is to provide conflict resolution and visitation services to families in need while respecting each family's dignity and uniqueness and ensuring the safety and well-being of their children.
We are seeking visitation specialists to join our team. Your role will be to supervise visits and facilitate monitored exchanges between parents and their children on a contract basis.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Observe and document interaction between parents and children
- Intervene as needed to ensure safety and well-being of children
- Organize / prepare visitation rooms as needed
- Testify in court if required / requested
Ideal Candidates will have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related field with some experience
- Ability to work independently and effectively with challenging people and situations
- Knowledge of child development and parenting skills
- FBI / BCI criminal background check clearance
- Availability to work evenings and weekends
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
